
Rainbow Six Siege Inspired School
This environment piece was made taking inspiration from one of my favorite games "Rainbow Six Siege". I created this environment in unreal engine 4 using autodesk maya for 3d modelling and UV mapping, Substance painted & designer for texturing and photoshop for texturing. The environment is a whole map rather than just one room. Creating a map that works seamlessly together, maintaining consistency was a challenge but I think I managed to pull it off well. The game rainbow six was taken into account when mapping out the environment and creating assets. As you can see, I created my own assets of items that are in the game such as the bomb, reinforced walls, doors, windows etc. As well as this I decided to make certain, more subtle design choices based on the game also while still bringing my own flair to the project. The environment is playable in real time however I am unable to record a screen capture due to problems with capture software. Overall I think this project went well and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I will continue to make refinements in the future especially regarding lighting. I may also add some post processing to the scene for extra flair.
